Competition Period

The Competition commences at 9:00am local time on 8th May 2023 and closes at midnight local time on 6th August, 2023. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

Eligible Entrants

The competition is open to residents of Australia aged 14 years or over except employees of Baskin-Robbins and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

Entry Mechanic

To enter, entrants must during the competition period perform these actions:

a) Open the “Enter the Flavourverse” AR Game via the QR Code in Baskin-Robbins stores, on select Baskin-Robbins packaging or by visiting entertheflavourverse.com.au

b) Allow camera access to enable the AR game.

c) Follow the prompts to capture as many ice creams with the web-shooter in 90 seconds.

d) Earn 30 points to enter the draw to win a trip to New York.

e) Submit their contact details and in 25 words or less, answer why they deserve to win a trip to New York.

Entry Fee

There is no entry fee to enter this competition.

Entry Limit

One entry per prize permitted.

Judging

All eligible entries received by the Promoter during the Competition Period will be judged by a panel of appropriately qualified judges by 21st August 2023 at the Promoter's premises to determine winners in the Competition. All eligible entries will be judged on a basis of originality and creative merit.

Total Maximum Major Prize Value

Total maximum value of all the major prize awarded in the Competition is up to $9,800.

Major Prize Terms & Conditions

- Prize has no cash alternative, is non-transferable and non-refundable.

- Prize not available during USA or Australian Public or National holiday periods. Not valid 20 March – 10 April 2024.

- Not Valid 10th December 2023 – 27 January 2024.

- Travel dates must be confirmed within 45 days of notification.

- One winner must be over 18 years of age.

- All elements are subject to availability at time of booking.

- Accommodation is based on sharing one room/apartment.

- A valid credit card must be presented at hotel check in for incidentals.

- Tickets are non-transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed). Once tickets are issued, they are non-endorsable and non-transferable. Any alterations to confirmed flights and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the winner. All components of the Prize must be fulfilled at the same time and they cannot be split across different time periods. Any changes by the winner made to the specified prize package (including travel extensions, additional guests, etc) will be subject to an administration fee of $250 excluding GST, which must be settled in full prior to booking confirmation.

- Individual supplier terms and conditions apply. Once the Prize has been arranged, any changes to the travel, flights, accommodation or scheduling arrangements are at the expense of the Winner and their travelling companions.

- Flights: Flights are economy class and may be indirect. The airline's Conditions of Carriage apply to all flights. The Winner and travelling companions must travel at the same time and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest Capital City Airport in Australia. The winner and their travelling companions will responsible for making their way to and from their departing Australian airport.

- Airline, flight route and dates of travel are subject to the promoter's absolute and final decision.

- Winners and guest travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

- Winner must obtain their own travel insurance and proof of insurance be provided before tickets are issued.

- Winners must follow any Covid-19 conditions and restrictions which may apply, but not limited to, travel, hotel and events. Winner and guests must adhere to USA conditions and restrictions at the time of travel. This may include, but not limited to, mask wearing and Proof of Vaccination Certificate Presentation.

- If you're visiting USA for less than 90 days, you may be eligible for the Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) and be able to enter under the Visa Waiver Program. If you're not eligible, you'll need a visa. Each traveller, including children, must have their own ESTA and visa waiver, or visa.

2) The value of each prize is accurate at the date of commencement of the Promotion and is based on the recommended retail price. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize(s).

3) This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual creative merit. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.

6) The promoter does not take responsibility if the “Enter the Flavourverse” game cannot be played on an individual's phone due to software limitations or technical issues. Minimum software requirement is Android 13 and iOS 16.

7) The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prizes can be collected / is delivered.

8) The promoter's decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9) The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and entry in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.
